The Pierro wines have been part of the Daily Drop range for over 5 years, they are extremely well made (and grown). It was therefore not difficult for the Daily Drop Panel to add their Fire Gully Chardonnay to the overall offering. This is a beautiful Chardonnay, fine and delicate, yet it has just enough brioche and butterscotch to highlight the calibre of Margaret River Chardonnay, year after year.

Region - Margaret River, WA.

Variety - Chardonnay.

Style/Palate - Dry, full-bodied, yet fresh.

Cellaring - Superb now or will cellar for 6-7 years from release.

Winemaking - Hand picked grapes, gently cold pressed and put into mature oak for 7 months to give the wine complexity yet elegant simplicity.

"It kicks off with just the right amount of leesy, nutty notes wound around a core of very good fruit, mostly citrus with grapefruit pith and stone fruit; zesty acidity keeps it tightly coiled.
