Josef Chromy Pepik Pinot Noir
Min. Quantity: 3
The 'Pepik' Pinot Noir is made by Josef Chromy Wines in Tasmania. The wine shows aromas and flavours of strawberry, cherry and raspberry as well as hints of blood orange and dried herbs. The tannins are fine and well structured to provide an intense and lingering finish. This is a gorgeous Tasmanian Pinot Noir at a great price. Ideal with salmon, spicy tomato pastas, light red meats, baked beetroots or a pepperoni pizza.
Selected batches of Pinot Noir fruit were gently destemmed and placed in small, open-top fermenters. Gentle plunging
and pump over techniques were used, combined with warm fermentations to ensure the retention of bright fresh fruit characters. After pressing, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in old French oak barriques and stainless steel.
Drink now or within 8 years of release.

About Pinot Noir
