The name 'La Gioiosa' pays tribute to the ancient name of the province of Treviso: “Marca gioiosa et amorosa”, emphasizing the convivial lifestyle of its inhabitants. The story of a family and a territory is reflected in a brand that is closely linked to Treviso and its most famous bubbles.

About Veneto

Veneto is one of the largest wine regions in Italy, known for fresh whites such as Pinot Grigio and Soave, high quality Prosecco and fruity reds such as Valpolicella. Veneto spans a large area, from southern end of Lake Garda,  extending east towards Venice and north towards the foothills in the Alps. The climate is warm,  with cooling influences coming from the higher altitude parts of the region. Breezes from Lake Garda also keep the vineyards cool which helps the grapes to retain their acidity.
